A classic workhorse that still works, IF you have the right broker. WallStreet Robot 3.0 avoids dangerous grid tactics but requires near-zero spreads to be profitable long-term.

What Is WallStreet Forex Robot 3.0?
WallStreet Forex Robot 3.0 is a short-term expert advisor for MetaTrader. The vendor has updated its core logic since 2011, and version 3.0 is a major overhaul.
We ran it on a $1,500 live account at IC Markets RAW. It ran alongside EA Automatic so we could compare entry speed on the same feed.
| Software type | Forex Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader |
|---|---|
| Core logic | "WSFR 3.0 Domination", updated by the vendor since 2011 |
| Return in our test | +47.4% on a live raw ECN account |
| Support | Email and ticket system, 24β48 hour replies |
Execution stats (Live)
- Avg Trade Duration: 42 minutes. It gets in and out quickly.
- Win Rate: 64% (Verified). This high win rate is necessary to offset the larger stop-loss.
- Trade Frequency: Very active. Expect 3-5 trades per day across all pairs.
- Night Trading: Yes, it scalps during the Asian session when volatility is low.
Monthβbyβmonth performance
| Month | Return | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Month 1 | +5.2% | Classic scalping, high win rate on EURUSD |
| Month 2 | +4.8% | Steady growth, small lots |
| Month 3 | -1.4% | Caught in a whip-saw during Fed speech |
| Month 4 | +6.1% | Best month, volatility was consistent but not spiked |
| Month 5 | +3.3% | Broker Spy blocked 40% of trades due to spread |
| Month 6 | +0.5% | Flat month. Market ranged too tightly |
| Month 7 | +5.5% | Recovered previous stagnation |
| Month 8 | +4.2% | GBPUSD pair carried the performance |
| Month 9 | -2.8% | Several stop-losses hit in a row |
| Month 10 | +3.9% | Slow recovery mode |
| Month 11 | +6.5% | Perfect trending conditions |
| Month 12 | +4.1% | Solid finish to the year |
The equity curve is generally up, showing the typical "sawtooth" pattern of a scalper. You will have losing weeks where the market simply doesn't fit the logic. The key is that it survives the long term.
Drawdown & Risk Profile
- Max DD in Test: 22.5%
- Risk Style: High Win Rate / Low Risk-Reward.
- The Danger: A typical stop-loss is often 3x larger than the take-profit. One bad trade wipes out 3 good ones.
Unlike EA Automatic, which uses active management and hedging to neutralize drawdowns early, WallStreet relies on hard mathematical probabilities. It will hold a losing trade hoping for a reversion. Usually, it works. When it doesn't, it hurts.
Which broker conditions the result depends on
A robot is tested on one broker. Change the spread, the execution or the account type, and the curve changes with it.
| Broker in our test | IC Markets RAW, zero-spread account |
|---|---|
| Account type | Raw/ECN required; standard accounts are where the robot loses its edge |
| Latency | About 3 ms via a New York VPS; the vendor asks for under 20 ms |
| Leverage | 1:200 recommended; US accounts at 1:50 hurt the return |
| Trades per day | 3β5 across all pairs |
| Average trade | 42 minutes |
| Hosting | VPS mandatory |
Before running WallStreet Forex Robotelsewhere, compare your broker's live spread and fills with these figures. The demo vs live guide shows how much a pip of extra cost takes from a strategy like this.
Broker fit & spread sensitivity
This is where 90% of users fail with WallStreet Robot. It is a tick-scalper. It fights for 5-8 pips of profit. If your broker charges 2 pips spread, you are giving away 25-40% of your edge instantly. Selecting the right environment is more important than the strategy itself. We highly recommend reviewing our comprehensive Broker Intelligence guide to understand how routing models impact algorithmic execution.
- Raw/ECN (IC Markets, Tickmill): Required. The robot thrives here due to near-zero latency and deep institutional liquidity.
- Standard Accounts: The "Kill Zone". Do not use WSFR here. You need a long-term trend strategy for these accounts.
- US Brokers: Works okay (FIFO compliant), but leverage limits (1:50) hurt the ROI.
The "Broker Spy" Module: This built-in feature is brilliant. It secretly monitors your broker's slippage and spreads. In our test, it prevented 14 trades that would have likely been losers due to spread widening.
Execution environment
Settings Used
- Logic: "WSFR 3.0 Domination"
- Risk: 2% per trade (Auto-MM)
- Pairs: EURUSD (Primary), GBPUSD
- Timeframe: M15 chart
Requirements
- VPS: Mandatory (Latency < 20ms)
- Leverage: 1:200 minimum recommended
- Balance: $500 absolute minimum
Note: We did not use the optional "Recovery Mode" (martingale). It increases profit but introduces ruin risk. We tested the core scalping logic only.
Quick start checklist
- Broker: Open a RAW/ECN account. Do not skip this step.
- VPS: Get a VPS close to your broker (London or NY usually).
- Install: Run the auto-installer provided after purchase.
- Pairs: Open EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY charts (M15 timeframe).
- Verify: Check the "Smiley face" in the top right corner.
- Patience: Do not judge it by one day. Give it 3 months.
Pricing & Value
- Price: ~$237 (One-time fee).
- License: 1 Live Account (Unlimited Demos).
- Upsells: They offer an "Asia" module and a "Recovery" module, often bundled.
Compared to subscription models like EA Automatic, WSFR is cheaper in the long run. However, you don't get the "white-glove" monitoring service. You buy the software, and you are on your own to install and manage it.
Support & Updates
- Method: Email / Ticket system. No live chat.
- Speed: 24-48 hours. Slow but competent.
- Updates: They have been updating the core logic since 2011. Version 3.0 is a major overhaul.
Don't expect the concierge experience. If you want someone to install it for you and watch your account, look at EA Automatic. With WallStreet, you are buying a tool, not a service.

WallStreet Forex Robot 3.0 User Reviews & Ratings
Real trader experiences with verified IP location tracking.
Based on 4 verified trader reviews
Requires dedicated 24/7 VPS stability
VPS downtime will mess up open trades during market retracements. Use conservative risk settings.
Built-in drawdown recovery works, keep risk low
Built-in drawdown recovery works reasonably well, but risk settings need to be kept conservative during market spikes.
Outdated entry logic compared to modern AI EAs
Outdated entry logic. Lacks adaptive learning features found in modern trading algorithms like EA Automatic.
Classic EA requiring stable VPS uptime
Long standing classic robot. Holds trades during retracements, so stable VPS uptime is mandatory for safe operation.

What we like and where it falls short
PROS
- Industry's longest track record (verified since 2011)
- "Broker Spy" module actively protects capital from high spreads
- High win rate (~64%) minimizes losing streaks
- One-time payment (no recurring monthly fees)
CONS
- Extremely sensitive to spreads (useless on Standard accounts)
- Stop Loss is larger than Take Profit (requires high win rate)
- Performance flatlines during low-volatility summer months
Who is this for?
- The DIY Trader: You know what a VPS is, and you know how to pick an ECN broker. You want a tool you can own forever.
- The "Set and Forget" seeker: It requires less weekly maintenance than news-based EAs, provided your VPS is stable. If you're exploring fully automated alternatives that prioritize hands-off execution, reviewing EA Automatic might provide a good contrasting perspective.
- Rebate Hunters: Because it trades frequently, it generates significant lot volume (good for cashback/rebates).
Final verdict
8.5/ 10
The longest-running scalper in the industry. Reliable workhorse, but needs raw ECN spreads to survive.
Rank #4 of the robots we have funded. The weighting behind the number is on the methodology page.
WallStreet Robot - FAQ
Verdict: It's the "Toyota Camry" of robots. It's been around forever, it's not the fastest, but it runs. Just don't put diesel (High Spreads) in it.
Is it a Martingale EA?
By default, NO. It is a scalper. However, it includes an optional 'Recovery Mode' which uses martingale logic. We recommend keeping this OFF for safety.
Can I use it on a $100 account?
Technically yes, but the risk of ruin is high. $500 is the realistic minimum to survive drawdowns.
Does it work on Prop Firms (FTMO, etc)?
It depends. It trades frequently and uses stops, which is good. But it holds trades over weekends sometimes, which some prop firms ban. Check your prop firm's rules on 'weekend holding'.
Why is my performance worse than the website claims?
99% of the time, it's your broker. If your spread is 0.5 pips higher than the official test, your profit drops by 50%.
Test setup & methodology
- Capital: $1,500 live real money account
- Broker: IC Markets RAW (Zero spread)
- Pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY (Default mix)
- Settings: "Generic" settings out of the box with Broker Spy enabled
- Latency: ~3ms via NY dedicated VPS
- Comparison: Ran alongside EA Automatic to compare entry speed
Important context: We purposely used a RAW spread account. We previously tried running this on a standard account (1.2 pips spread), and it barely broke even. Unlike Bullcharge which tolerates spread markup, WallStreet requires near-zero spreads to function.
